A fast modal blues in C minor. It features Tenor 2,Drums, Trombone 1, and Piano. This arrangement was written for the McCoy Tyner Big Band.

A medium-tempo blues in C. It features Alto 1, Drums, and Piano. This swinger was commissioned for Count Basie and his Orchestra by Mr. Basie himself.

A medium-tempo blues in Bb. It features Alto 2,Trumpet 4, Drums and Piano.

A swinging blues shuffle in Bb. It features Alto 1, Trumpet 3, and Piano. This piece was written for the Count Basie Orchestra. It's "sweeping" saxophone section licks and "fat" brass punches are a great way to show off a swinging band!

This piece is a blues in G, but it's not at all average! It's written with the great arranger, Thad Jones in mind.

The saxophone section is led this time by the soprano saxophone and it's trombone soli in front is a great way to start this swinger.
